Holly
Spence, PT, PRC
Owner & Physical Therapist
"In the 27 years that I've been a physical therapist,
I've never lost the great sense of fulfillment that comes
with helping others. It takes skill and know-how, but it always
feels miraculous to see the effects that restored function
and mobility and improved health and physical performance
have on people's lives. This is what drives me to advance
my training and always strive to deliver the very highest
level of therapy care. And it's why I'm as passionate about
making a difference for others as I was when I started practicing.
"I've learned a lot since I've been a physical therapist,
through both ongoing training and hands-on experience. But
I've also learned that it's just as important to 'meet patients
where they are.' It's imperative to understand their problem
and how it fits into the context of their lives. What are
their goals? What are their limitations? What excites them?
What motivates them? My primary mission as a therapist is
to help people achieve their optimal health, wellness and
function. For me, that starts with listening, understanding
and earning their trust."
